NORMAL WIRING AND PROCESSING METHOD OF ELECTRIC WIRE CONNECTOR


If we use the normal wiring and processing methods of the electric wire connector introduced as followed, the service life of the electric wire can be extended for decades.


First Step

Firstly, we peel off the insulation. Then we used a short copper wire of 15 cm length to wind the two hard copper wires in the box. After the winding is completed, the red and yellow-green copper wires are also wound with two hard copper wires in the wire box with a 15 cm copper head.



Second Step

After all the winding is completed, we put the three wire connectors down and put them together, and then started to apply soldering water. After the soldering water is ready, we start tinning. When tinning, we must pay attention to hanging the exposed copper wire ends with tin, but we cannot damage the insulation of the wires. Tinning can prevent the wire connectors from being falsely connected and oxidized conditions, thus increasing the life of the wire connector.


Although there is no strict requirement to hang tin, under what circumstances must hang tin be handled?


1) If the line needs to be connected in the middle, and the junction box cannot be left at this time, in this case, the tin must be hung, and at the same time, it can be closed with a heat shrinkable sleeve to prevent oxidation of the connection bar.


2) In the heavy-duty construction specifications, soft copper cable connectors larger than 2.5 mm require tin hanging, which can prevent heat generation caused by poor contact.


3) If the lamps in the home are used a lot, and all the lamps are on a circuit, you must do tin soldering to prevent accidents.



Third Step

After handling it, we started wrapping the tape. When wrapping the tape, we first wrapped the self-adhesive tape. After use, the self-adhesive tape will automatically play a waterproof and moisture-proof role, which can avoid the leakage of electricity caused by the moisture of the wire connector. It can be wrapped with PVC tape or insulating tape, because the self-adhesive tape has good waterproof performance, but its disadvantage is easy to damage, so we use PVC or insulating tape to protect the self-adhesive tape, so that it can play a waterproof and insulating role, which can increase the service life of wire connectors



The Fourth Step

After the tape was wrapped, we plugged the wire connector into the box, leaving the short copper head that we added, and we are ready to install the socket. We can see that the three wires are the red wire for the live wire, the blue wire for the null wire, and the yellow and green wires for the ground wire. The socket also has a logo, L is the live wire, N is the null wire, and the middle is a ground wire logo. We correspond to the color of the wire and correctly install the three terminals into the socket. Red corresponds to L, blue corresponds to N, and yellow and green correspond to the middle ground terminal. Finally, we fixed the socket to the wire box.



Such a wire connection method, a processing method, and an adhesive tape method, if done well, basically the electric wire can function for decades with no problems.
