Causes burning problems

If the terminals are black, one of the possibilities is not necessarily burning, and oxidation may be black. So how to verify if it is burnt? The method we use is to wipe it with our fingers. If it can be wiped off, like soot, it is a black substance formed by oxidation. It must be polished with sandpaper or a file.


Cause high temperatures problems

There are two possibilities: the terminal is loose and the contact resistance is too large, which causes overheating; the terminal is not loose, but the circuit is overheated for some unknown reason, such as the power supply voltage is too high, or the load is shorted.

1. The voltage is too high. It can be checked from the source, the secondary voltage of the transformer-the voltage in the distribution box-the voltage of each electrical equipment.

2. Ground fault. It can also be checked from the transformer and then grounded to the distribution box. The ground should be grounded, and normal phase wires should be grounded. You can use an insulation meter or a shaking meter to measure when power is off, and measure in sections. Try to measure only the power supply and distribution lines such as cables, wires, circuit breakers, switches, etc., if it is difficult to segment, unplug the weak electrical equipment, Fuse for sensing equipment.
